The TIG 230 AC/DC LCD TIG Welding Machine is a multifunctional welding system from the flagship DLD line, designed for AC/DC TIG welding and manual arc welding (MMA) in both standard and pulsed modes.
This machine is suitable for welding low-carbon and stainless steel, alloy steel, titanium, aluminum, magnesium, copper, and other non-ferrous metals.
It can be connected to a liquid cooling unit (LCU) and a separate DRIVE 500TL filler wire feeder (FWF) for automated welding.

Premium components, a robust 230 amp output, and precise aerodynamics are no accident, but a consequence of global assembly standards.
The device is manufactured on the same high-tech factory lines as the world's leading welding legends. This guarantees the use of industrial-grade components, strict soldering quality control, and absolute repeatability of performance from batch to batch.
When every amp, every gram of weight, and every second of the work cycle counts, the choice is obvious. The flagship DLD line offers total superiority in its class, leaving no compromises to the competition.

     PULSE MODE
PULSE mode simplifies the welding process of aluminum and its alloys, as well as stainless steels, ensuring a high level of connection reliability.
Unlike short-circuiting, pulsed welding does not create spatter and prevents sticking. The quality and convenience of the pulsed process allows welders with little experience to weld seams of varying complexity.
Pulsed mode on AC and DC current enables high-quality welding of thin-walled stainless steel and aluminum components.

     AC AND DC WELDING
Ability to work with both DC (welding steel, copper, and titanium) and AC (welding aluminum, magnesium, and thick copper alloys where oxide removal from the weld surface is required).

     WAVEFORM SELECTION
Choosing the waveform and half-wave during TIG AC welding allows you to change heat input, metal penetration depth, increase the cleaning effect of the welded surfaces, and reduce melting of the tungsten electrode.

     INFORMATIVE CONTROL PANEL
Easy welding mode adjustments via the LCD control panel. Most of the machine's functions and options, as well as welding values and parameters, are displayed on the LCD screen and adjusted using a dedicated encoder control.

    COMPACT
The compact, thoughtful design and two handles on the body make the welder easy to carry. Its compact size and weight make it easy to position the power source during operation and simplify storage.

    CAP SHAPING FUNCTION
The special "Cap Shaping" program used in TIG AC welding is used to form a ball on the end of the tungsten electrode to stabilize the welding arc using alternating current.

    DIAMETER SELECTION FUNCTION
The special "Diameter Selection" program in the TIG AC process improves arc ignition depending on the selected tungsten electrode diameter.

    REPEATED MODE
This special mode allows you to set two different preset current levels and control them using the torch trigger. The second current level compensates for the part's overheating.

    TIG 230 AC/DC LCD

    1. Welding process type:
    • MMA – manual arc welding with a coated electrode.
    • TIG HF – argon-arc welding with contactless arc initiation using a high-frequency discharge.
    • TIG LIFT – argon-arc welding with arc initiation by touching the tungsten electrode.
    2. Current type:
    • AC – alternating current welding
    • DC – direct current welding
    3. Displays the selected standard or pulsed welding mode.
    4. Waveform or half-waveform for AC welding; also displays the "MIX AC/DC" mode.
    5. Button operation mode:
    • 2T – two-stroke operating mode
    • 4T – four-stroke operating mode
    • REPEATED – two-level welding mode.
    • SPOT – time-based welding mode.
    6. Saved memory cell number.
    7. Welding current control: the value can be set using the control panel, pedal, or torch.
    8. Alarm: displayed when the input current increases, as well as when the mains voltage decreases.
    9. Device overheating: If the device operates continuously for a long time at high current, the temperature of its internal components rises. When a critical temperature is reached, a sensor is triggered. When the indicator lights, stop working, but do not turn off the device. After a short while, it will be ready for use.
    10. Display of the set welding current value.
    11. Display of values:
    • Open-circuit voltage
    • Welding voltage
    • Set welding parameter values.
    12. Welding parameter sequence diagram.
Rotate and press the encoder to select and set the welding parameter value.
To set the welding process and modes, enter the "PARAMETER MENU."
